Memphis Hustle acquire JJ Frazier

Hustle Waive Jerome Seagears

The Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ NBA G League affiliate, today announced that the team has acquired guard J.J. Frazier via a waiver claim. Additionally, the team waived guard Jerome Seagears.

Frazier (5-10, 155), a Georgia product, has appeared in 16 games (five starts) this season with JDA Dijon Basket of the French LNB Pro A, averaging 8.2 points, 2.6 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 20.9 minutes per game. Frazier played four seasons (2013-17) at Georgia and as a senior last season averaged 18.8 points, 4.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.85 steals per game while earning First Team All-SEC honors.

 Seagears (6-1, 180), who played three seasons at Rutgers before transferring to UNLV for his final collegiate season, appeared in two games for the Hustle and recorded one assist and one steal.
