The Memphis Hustle, the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, will host Financial Literacy Education Day presented by Renasant Bank when the team takes on the Texas Legends at Landers Center on Monday, January 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Three thousand kids from schools in the Greater Memphis and Northern Mississippi areas will be in attendance for Monday’s game. Each kid in attendance will receive a drawstring bag and financial literacy workbook courtesy of Renasant Bank. During the game, the Hustle will sport themed jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit the Mississippi Council of Economic Education.
Monday’s game is the second of a three-game home stand that follows a span of 23 days without a home game. Prior to Financial Literacy Education Day, the Hustle will match up with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants tomorrow, January 27 at 7 p.m. for Education Night, is presented by the 2+2 Program at Northwest Mississippi Community College and The University of Mississippi at DeSoto. Following Monday’s game, the Hustle face defending Western Conference champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Wednesday, January 31 at 7 p.m. as the teams meet for the fourth time this season.
