What is the Hustle Cubs Reading Club?

Hustle Cubs Reading Club is a program created to help improve literacy rates inside and outside of the classroom across the Mid-South. Students at participating schools are encouraged to read 20 minutes per day for six weeks at home or in the classroom. Registration will begin on Monday, July 27 and conclude on Wednesday, August 19.

The reading program will begin on Monday, September 14 and end on Monday, October 26.

Each student who successfully completes the program will receive one (1) complimentary ticket to a Memphis Hustle home game during the 2026-27 season. Students who read the most minutes each week will be rewarded with a Hustle prize pack, these students will also be rewarded with two (2) floor seats for the designated Reading Club game.

Teachers who have 50% or more of their registered reading club students complete the challenge will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to a Memphis Hustle home game during the 2026-27 season. Deadline for teachers to submit completion is Friday, November 20.

Prizes:
The school with the most students complete the program will receive a Hustle Pep Rally.
The teacher with the most students complete the program will receive a pizza party.
