Blue defeat Hustle 126–116

Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Hustle (12-17), the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, were defeated 126-116 by the Oklahoma City Blue (17-12) Sunday at Landers Center. 

Adonis Arms paced the Hustle with 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Michael Devoe scored 18 points. Loudon Love added 14 points and six rebounds off the bench. Timmy Allen and Davon Reed each tallied 13 points. Lucas Williamson totaled 12 points.  

Two-way transfer Olivier Sarr led the Blue with 30 points and 13 rebounds. On assignment from the Thunder, Ousmane Dieng contributed 17 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists. Hunter Maldonado added 15 points and eight assists off the bench.  

Oklahoma City closed the second quarter on a 12-0 run and opened the third quarter on an 8-0 run to score 20 straight points and take a double-digit lead. The Blue led by as many as 28 in the second half.  

Oklahoma City outscored the Hustle 68-46 in the paint. The Blue scored 30 points off turnovers. Memphis shot 50 percent from beyond the arc, making 17 3-pointers.  

The Hustle’s five-game home stand continues as they host the Sioux Falls Skyforce to Landers Center on Tuesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. CT.
