Hustle Trade Returning Player Rights to Terrell Brown Jr. to Greensboro
Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Hustle today announced the team acquired the returning player rights to forward Cameron McGriff. Additionally, the Hustle acquired a first-round pick (via Birmingham) in the 2024 NBA G League Draft, and a 2023 second-round pick from the Greensboro Swarm for the returning player rights to guard Terrell Brown Jr.
McGriff (6-7, 220) appeared in 43 games (four starts) with the Greensboro Swarm averaging 11.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in 23.1 minutes during the 2021-22 NBA G League season.
The 26-year-old most recently appeared in 15 games (five starts) with Le Mans Sarthe Basket of the French Pro A League, with averages of 10.3 points and 4.6 rebounds in 23.6 minutes per game. The Texas native appeared in three games with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2021-22 NBA season and averaged 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds in 15.3 minutes.
Brown Jr. (6-3, 175) appeared in 34 games with the Memphis Hustle last season, averaging 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 16.8 minutes after going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft.
