Hustle Acquire Returning Rights to Ben Moore In Exchange for Returning Rights to Matt Mooney
Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Hustle today announced that the organization has completed a trade with Raptors 905, acquiring the returning player rights to Ben Moore in exchange for the returning player rights to Matt Mooney.
Moore (6-8, 220) appeared in 30 games (22 starts) last season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, averaging 13.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 blocks in 31.9 minutes per game while shooting 56.6 percent overall, 39.5 percent from 3-point range and 74.6 percent from the free-throw line. Moore appeared in 18 games with Galatasaray (Turkey) during the 2019-20 season and two games with the Indiana Pacers during the 2017-18 season.
Mooney (6-3, 200) appeared in 24 games (22 starts) last season with the Hustle, averaging 12.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals in 30 minutes per game while shooting 47.9 percent overall, 36.8 percent from 3-point range and 95.5 percent from the free-throw line. Mooney appeared in four games with the Cleveland Cavaliers last season after signing a two-way contract on Jan. 15, 2020.
