Memphis Hustle finalize coaching staff for 2021-22 season

The Memphis Hustle announced today that Head Coach Jason March’s coaching staff for the 2021-22 season has been finalized. Assistant Coach Michael Joiner returns from last season’s staff while the team also hired T.C. Swirsky, Deividas Dulkys and Mariah Chandler as assistant coaches. 

March enters his third season as head coach of the Memphis Hustle and his 12th with the Memphis Grizzlies organization. March has led the Hustle to a 32-24 record (.571) in his first two seasons as head coach of the Grizzlies’ NBA G League affiliate. The Frostproof, Fla., native was named NBA G League Coach of the Month in November 2019 in his first month on the sidelines, and seven Hustle players have earned NBA call-ups during his tenure.

Swirsky joins the Hustle coaching staff after spending two years (2019-21) as the head video coordinator for the Memphis Grizzlies. The Chicago native previously served as assistant video coordinator for the Portland Trail Blazers for five seasons (2014-2019). Swirsky earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

Joiner, a Fayetteville, N.C., native, returns for his third season with the Hustle. Joiner played five seasons in the NBA G League, including two with the Austin Toros (2009-11) alongside Taylor Jenkins. Joiner played collegiately at Florida State University (2000-04), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Joiner also earned a master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix. 

Dulkys, a Šilutė, Lithuania, native, played collegiately at Florida State University (2008-12). Dulkys helped the Seminoles reach the NCAA Tournament in four consecutive seasons and currently ranks 4th in Florida State history with 203 made 3-pointers. Dulkys then went on to enjoy a 10-year professional playing career that included stops in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Turkey, Italy and Spain. Dulkys earned Polish League All-Star honors in 2014 as the league’s top scorer. 

Chandler joins the Hustle staff after spending two seasons as a basketball operations assistant for the Memphis Grizzlies. Chandler played collegiately at Baylor University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital media. The Atlanta native earned her M.B.A. from North Greenville University, where she served as a graduate assistant.

All-inclusive floor seats and tables are still available for purchase, along with 5- and 10-game packs. Additionally, the Memphis Hustle are accepting $50 deposits for groups of 15-or-more.
